Computex 2015. The announcement of chipset MediaTek Helio P10

The Chinese company MediaTek introduced at Computex 2015 its new mobile processor of the middle class – Helio P10.

Products range Helio P combine such features flagship solutions like high-speed data transmission, exceptional sound quality and support displays with 2K-resolution (Quad HD). The composition of Helio P10 includes eight cores ARM Cortex-A53, running at 2 GHz, and graphics core Mali-T860 with a frequency of 700 MHz. A wireless modem supports all major bands fourth generation networks and the standard LTE Cat.6.

Technology load of processor cores CorePilot maximizes the efficient use of a heterogeneous architecture of the new chipset. In addition, a proprietary system for monitoring heart MediaTek Visual Processing Application using smartphone cameras able to detect your heart rate, accuracy comparable with the results of measurements of the specialized sensors.

By using 28-nanometer process technology and optimization of HPC + architecture Helio P10 consumes up to 35% less energy than other processors, made by technology 28HPC. The chipset has multimedia capabilities. In particular, it supports the camera with a resolution of 21 megapixels and matrices RWWB (with white sub-pixels), which have a higher sensitivity.

On the basis of Helio P10 can be created smartphones with dual cameras and a function of the phase autofocus and HDR mode is available even while shooting video. It also provides high sound quality with a signal / noise ratio of 110 dB. Finally, declared support for Full HD-display with a refresh rate of 60 f / s technology and image enhancement MiraVision.

Test samples Helio P10 will appear in the third quarter, and commercial unit with a new eight-core hardware platform from MediaTek will go on sale later this year.
